More than just a Sunday School experience, our CORE Ministry teaches how adding God's Word to your spiritual CORE gives you the strength that we need to use our spiritual muscles in all of our lives situations.

Our Deacons and Deaconess are anointed to take care of the needs of others. In fulfilling their ministry responsibilities, they free up the Ministers to do what they should be doing – the Ministry of the Word of God which includes preaching the Word and shepherding the Body of Christ. Cochran's Deacons and Deaconess seek to serve, assist, and provide needed benevolence.

Through God's Grace, Cochran's Evangelism Ministry shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone and everywhere that God directs. They share the bad news of sin and judgement and the good news of Forgiveness and Salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

The Cochran Media Ministry exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our local church, community and the world.

We strive to provide top-level quality service to to our church community through a partnership will all ministries both locally and globally; to prepare, operate, maintain, support and seamlessly integrate the technologies of audio, lighting, video and graphical presentations, that equip and enhance the outreach and mission of Cochran Avenue Baptist Church to the world.

Our Cochran Media Ministry is a team of various members of diverse backgrounds. Whether you're young or older, experienced or just passionate, introverted or extroverted, there is a place for you on our team. We work faithfully together, sometimes serving in different capacities simultaneously, to provide an opportunity for God's Spirit to bring another person to into His Kingdom.

We work together, serving often in different capacities simultaneously, to set the stage of opportunity so God's Spirit can interact without distraction or hinderance, so that one more might cross the line of faith and grow in their dependence upon the Lord.

The Media Ministry prepares, operates and supports the audio, lighting, video and graphical presentation needs of all ministries and outreaches of Cochran Avenue Baptist Church.

Cochran's Youth Ministry – NEXT Generation - strives to provide a spiritual environment for our children and youth to know God's Word for their lives to help them discover the plans and purposes God has for specifically for them.

Cochran's Outreach Ministry continues to grow and touch many lives in our community and beyond. Our Volunteer Staff works diligently always serve with love and compassion.

Christ's Kitchen feeds the Guests of The Lord desiring a healthy, hot meal daily.

Cochran 'Macy's provides free clothing daily to anyone in need of clean, gently used clothing.

Our Preaching in the Park Evangelism ministry seeks to share Jesus with those who may never walk through the doors of a church building.

Ushers are an integral part of the Cochran experience. They are the first contact for everyone coming through our doors. Serving as an Usher helps the church to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for guests attending Cochran services and special events.

Our Senior, Young Adult and Youth Ushers are scheduled on a rotating basis. They distribute programs, seat guests, and function as ministry assistants to the pastoral staff during the worship service.

Cochran's Women's Ministry is known as 'WINGS – Women In God's Service – welcomes all women with open arms! We strive to promote passion and connection to God, the people of God, and equip them to live out God's purpose for their lives!  We promote sharing Christ's love with our communities and the world. 

WINGS is a ministry for women where sisters in Christ come together in faith and fellowship, with a desire to love and encourage one another in the understanding and application of the Word of God.  

Through a variety of events, we connect, learn and grow through worship, study, discussion, prayer, laughter, tears, encouragement, friendship, service and fun!
